The short version

  • This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers.
  • We measure our audience with a tool we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and does not store your IP address.
  • If you email us, we use your details to reply.
  • We do not sell or rent your data. It is hosted in the European Union.
  • Our free tools run in your browser. If you ask for a resource by email, we send it with Brevo, once you have confirmed your address.

When you visit the website

Technical logs. Our hosting provider records technical information about each request: IP address, browser, page requested, date and time. We use it to run the website and keep it secure, on the basis of our legitimate interest. These logs are kept for 30 days.

Audience measurement. We use Umami, installed on our own servers. It records the pages you visit, the page you came from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and your approximate location (country, region, city), worked out from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored. Umami uses no cookies, stores no identifier on your device and does not follow you across websites. We use it to know which pages are useful, on the basis of our legitimate interest, for as long as we measure the audience of this website.

When you email us

We receive your email address, your name and what you write. We use them to answer you and follow up on your request: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, or our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep them for as long as the conversation and its follow-up require. If we work together, our contract applies.

When you use one of our free tools

  • Our tools, such as the quote scorecard, run in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us.
  • If you ask for the full report or a resource by email, we receive your email address and the result of the tool. For the quote scorecard: your score, the numbers of the questions you answered "no" to, and whether you had a quote in hand. For the AI wall diagnostic: the path it recommends, whether your data is backed up, and whether you have real users or data you can't lose. For the scope template: only your email address. We use them to send you what you asked for and, if you ticked the box, a short series of follow-up emails over about two weeks, then an email when we publish a new resource — a few times a year at most. The legal basis is your consent, confirmed by email (double opt-in). We keep them until you unsubscribe. After that, your contact is marked as unsubscribed so that we never write to you again, and you can ask us to delete it completely at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
  • We also count, without knowing who you are, how many times a tool is started and finished.

Who processes your data for us

These providers process your data only on our instructions, under data processing agreements. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use advertising networks.

  • Google Cloud (Google Ireland Limited): website hosting, technical logs and audience measurement, in the European Union (Belgium).
  • IONOS: our email, in the European Union (Germany).
  • Brevo: sending resources and follow-up emails, in the European Union (France, Germany, Belgium).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Write to kaan@nexusinsight.io: we answer within one month.

If you think we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority, or to the authority where you live.

You can withdraw your consent at any time.

When this policy changes, we update this page and its date.
